We would like to inform you that PSRC ceased to exist since 31st December, 2007. The remaining tasks of the former PSRC have been vested to Consolidated Holding Corporation (CHC). CHC (formerly known as NBC Holding Corporation) is a statutory corporation established by the Parliament through enactment of the National Bank of Commerce (Reorganization and vesting of Assets and Liabilities) Act No 23 of 1997. The reorganization of NBC gave rise to other two entities namely NBC (1997) Limited (now NBC Limited) and National Micro-finance Bank Limited (NMB). However, in April 2007 the National Assembly passed amendment to the Act Cap 404 through Act No. 10 of 2007 to vest all the remaining activities from Loans and Advances Realisation Trust (LART), Air Tanzania Holding Corporation (ATHCO) and SIMU 2000 Ltd to Consolidated Holding Corporation. In November 2007 the National Assembly further amended the Act through Act No. 26 of 2007 to vest all the remaining tasks of Presidential Parastatal Sector Reform Commission (PSRC) to the Corporation (CHC).
